One best practice for NAAC in Osmania University is the establishment of a Quality Monitoring Cell (QMC). QMC cells have been opened and maintained in all the eight campus colleges of Osmania University. The Cell involves the formation of small groups of faculty and staff members (one Coordinator and members with at least one member from each department) who work collaboratively to identify areas for improvement within their departments and develop and implement action plans to address them. The QMC of the colleges work in collaboration with IQAC in speeding the data acquisition process required for AQAR’s and SSR; assist the inspection and certification process.

The Quality Monitoring Cell (QMC) encourages a culture of continuous improvement and quality enhancement within the University by fostering a sense of ownership and accountability among faculty and staff. The programs conducted at college level helps to promote transparency and stakeholder participation in the quality assurance process and ensures that all members of the college and thereby the University community are invested in the University’s overall success.
